Good Hearts Club Premiers!

The great William Reed wrote and directed this heart warming comedy. Do you remember those moments when you first found a group of really good friends? When you felt the joy and excitement of play? Where you not only felt accepted, but felt like you were a part of an unspoken language that understood the special connection of friendship? Somehow Mr. Reed captured that bliss in his film. At least, that’s how I felt on set. I look forward to seeing the special screen at the Hill Country Film Festival.

So far 7 Audiobooks Done

I just finished narrating my seventh audiobook this year. While not as prolific as many narrators, this puts me on pace to produce more audiobooks than in previous years. I love getting to tell stories of love, dreams, loss, adversity, ingenuity, hope, transformation, and passion. What people experience in their lives is extraordinary. Working with authors who have endured and captured these complexities of living brings me such satisfaction and gratitude.

A Spring of Short Films

Shooting two short films this spring was a celebrator return to on-camera. I got to work with two talented and dedicated teams (one in Dallas, the other in Austin). Our collective enthusiasm quickly established a camaraderie that made these projects a delight. ROE at Zach

Working on ROE by Lisa Loomer at ZACH Theatre was a fulfilling and impactful experience. Though we had less than a week of rehearsal before COVID-19 cancelled the production, working with Jenny Lavery, the director, and a talented, intelligent, passionate group of actors, gave me the thrill of being a part of a significant event. This production was poised to make us experience the lives behind Roe v. Wade.

Hedda at Austin Shakespeare

My first Ibsen play has been a pleasure to work on. Director, Ann Ciccolella, created an adaptation abundant with clarity and immediacy. My character Elliot Løvborg boils with complexity, hope, longing, intelligence, impulse, and love. We run for another week at the Long Center. I would be delighted to see you there.

Catawampus

After 7 years of intention, I finally wrote and performed my solo show Catawampus at Frontera Fest. Creating this piece challenged me to deeply investigate the changes in perspective I have undergone in adulthood. Working with my long time friend and Lighthouse Theater Company artistic director, Chase Wooldridge, the ideas came alive on stage in the most fun way.
